前作のep kenjimiyazawaを経て今回セカンドアルバムをリリース。
このB.M.Rのイメージは、変則的に前進するグルーヴを保ったまま、押弦やアタックの瞬発力で加速していく感じである。
ミニマルでハイテンションで解説不要、火力の全8曲。

As the title alludes, the new CARTHIEFSCHOOL album “backmyrage” features eight tracks of smouldering intensity. A period of post-pandemic live action has tightened the trio’s chops even further on this latest offering, which includes last year’s “Thug Machine” single. The results are the band’s most inventive songwriting to date – full of complex jazz-punk interplay, delivered with their trademark gale-force guitar turbulence.
